The New World

After Saito and Louise opened the world door, the two worlds finally learned about each other. Technology and magic met, and soon, a new era began. In this world where science and magic now coexists, new problems start to appear. Jack Aurum, a square-class mage and a student at the new Magic Academy dedicates himself to solving these problems.

Soon after the World door was opened, Tristain, Germania, Gallia and Albion joined to form the Great Alliance of Halkeginia (a.k.a. the Halkeginia Alliance). A few years later, a treaty was signed with the elves. The treaty of the Holy lands stated that large areas of land in Halkeginia would be gifted to the elves and they can roam Halkeginia freely, but in return the humans can share the Holy lands with the elves. Using Louise's 'world door' and the elves' natural magic, a permanent portal was opened in the Holy lands, which led to Japan on the other side. Soon, people from both sides of the portal learnt about each other and humanity thrived.
