Remembrance – KibaSaku
Kiba saw Sakura sitting alone, the moonlight shining in her pink hair. Kiba couldn't help but to sit next to her on the park bench. She looked up at him and smiled softly before leaning against him. He wrapped his arms around her and held her tight, lightly kissing the top of her head. "Everything will be better soon."
Sakura looked up into his big brown eyes. She lightly traced the red upside down triangles on his face. "I know, but i wish that she wasn't taken away from me. I'll miss her and i never even had a chance to say goodbye."
Kiba held her alittle tighter. "I'm here for you Sakura, if you need to talk or cry or whatever, I'll be here."
Sakura felt the tears well up in her eyes as she remebered the good times she had with Lady Tsunade before the cancer took over. Sakura wasn't even there for the worst of it. She let the women who had taken her in as a daughter died without seeing her again, because Sakura wasn't prepared to face her death. So now Sakura felt guilty because of it. Tsunade was gone and there was nothing that could change that.
She suddenly remebered the words that Tsunade had said to her when Jiraya died. "When someone that is close to you dies they are never really gone, they will remain in their loved ones hearts forever, whether they were there to or not."
Sakura wiped away her tears and looked up at Kiba. "Kiba will you accompany me to the Lady's grave, I think I'm finally ready to go."
Kiba nodded and together they ventured to Lady Tsunade's grave. Sakura had refused to go there, but now she was ready.
