Another one for LaPaige's Writing Prompt. Number 10 - Lies

"So, Mitchie, what does your mom do?" Tess asked, casually.
The truth almost trampled out of her mouth until she halted them from going anymore. What am I doing? She thought to herself, I can't tell Tess Tyler that! I'm sure Mom won't mind if I tweek it a bit.. And the first words that ran into her head poured out of her mouth.
She wasn't aware of what she had just said, but she liked the attention she got.
Screw honesty! When did it ever get me this popular?
And each session she had with Tess' small group, she made up a new story and more 'ohmygosh's' and 'that's so cool's she got.
She bashed in it, loving it while it last.
But all she had was fifteen minutes on top before the truth caught up with her.
Mitchie only lied for the attention. And attention, she got.
