Hi. My first Warrior's fanfic. I love the character of Tallstar, so here you go.
Enjoy.
And review.
Tallstar looked down at his clan. The clan he had helped build up and had been broken down and yet built up again. It made him happy to see the clan he loved thriving. He purred softly, wishing that he was down there with them. There were times he regretted having to join Starclan, and yet...
He was proud of his clan. Onestar was a good leader, if a little harsh with Thunderclan. Tallstar wished he wouldn't be, Firestar was doing his best.
Tallstar watched his clan, watched Crowfeather deliver a rabbit to the Elders' Den. Morningflower stepped out and accepted it gratefully. Tallstar sighed. He remembered when Morningflower was Morningpaw and eager to learn the ways of the warrior. He had been eager once to, before he had realized all the pain and hurt it could cause. But it could cause so much more. Happiness, joy, friendship...the world needed more of that.
The world was so much more complicated that it used to be, not so long ago. Prophecies that had no clear meanings until they played out, cats with more than one home, more than one kind of animal attacking the clans...
Tallstar looked back at his clan. Kestralflight was tending to Harespring, who had tripped and fallen in a rabbit's burrow.' Mousebrain' thought Tallstar, smiling to himself.
Tallstar turned around and padded away from the pool he had been sitting by. Maybe he didn't like being in Starclan all the time, but most of the time he loved it. No war, no hurt, nothing bad penetrated these borders.
He stopped by his den in a dip in the open prairie he had found and settled down. Tallstar had seen many things when he was alive, and now that he was not he could say that when it came to his Clan he couldn't have been prouder.
