His Affect On Me

A/N: Hello my dear freaky cereal killers! I know you guys were probably thinking if I was dead by this point, and I'm really sorry about my absence, but with school, English classes, chores and my new doggie (Sully) and this despicable thing called writer's block, it made updating regularly a difficult thing. But I figured I shouldn't let you guys hanging there waiting for my stories for so long, so I decided to write this one shot! Hope you like it!

Annabeth was the kind of girl who liked to have her life planned. She was always thinking about what she would do when she leaved Camp and have her own family, besides her 'Camp Family'. So it was not a surprise when she started getting frustrated with herself when he appeared in her life.

Of course it was a good thing he appeared, but he changed her and her life so much it made her dizzy. She could give away a million examples.

Annabeth swore to herself she would never break the rules of Camp. That rule was broken when she sat beside him on his table at lunch before their mission to the Labyrinth.

Annabeth swore she would never giggle. That was just so not her, it would never happen, right? Wrong. On the first couple of weeks they started dating, he would make her laugh and (ugh) giggle.

She also told herself she would never cuddle in bed with anyone. She assumed it would be like she was trapped inside a jail. Nope. But, when they moved in together, the first night they slept on the same bed, she cuddled with him. And she didn't feel trapped at all. In fact, she was more comfortable there than she should be.

Annabeth told herself almost everyday that she would never ever go near spiders. But on their first date, they went to the zoo and Percy wanted to see the snakes, which were coincidently near the spiders. She gave in and kept her eyes closed the whole way inside the small building that held the animals.

Annabeth made an oath to herself that she would never let weakness show. She was a daughter of Athena. She was a warrior, she was brave. And she was human. Well, half human anyway. So when she wasn't taking anymore, se went out of her cabin after curfew and went into the woods. It was a dangerous and stupid thing to do, but at the moment she didn't care. She sat on a big stone and cried her eyes out for every hard and painful thing she had been through. Suddenly Percy emerged from the woods. She looked up at him, but they both stayed quiet. Then he just sat beside her and hugged her, letting her cry, because he understood, and that was all Annabeth could ask for.

Yes, Annabeth had promised she would never let anyone change her. But he did. And for good. He made a big difference in her life, and not only herself but everyone who knew the 'before' and 'after' Annabeth knew that.

Now Annabeth knew how it was to be under the 'Percy Effect'.

And even if it changed everything she planned, she didn't mind at all.

A/N: I know it's short but it's supposed to be just filler story and I needed to put this idea out of my mind. Hope you like. At least one bit. Or nothing at all. You decide!
