"Once upon a time there was a witch. Now, She did not know that she was a witch, only that she was different, and that normal society could not accept her for who and what she was. Each night as she slept she would dream vividly. Such dreams that one could only imagine, except she was not imagining them, they really happened. After she dreamed them of course. She was, in light use of the word, a prophet. Each dream she had came true, though they were insignificant, and she began to wonder, if she had any other powers. Looking to the sky she thought. "Perhaps if I leave home I will find out." Though leaving home was not an option, as she was only a teenager, and her family would miss her. Soon the urge to leave was overwhelming, she would curl up in bed every night and cry because she knew she had to leave, and yet she could not. Lifting her head to the heavens, she asked whomever, or whatever was there what she should do, but she got no reply. Even the gods had forsaken the poor young witch who did not know what to do with her life."
"One day she finally decided to leave. After packing her most cherished belongings, she left, ready to gain her freedom and learn about who and what she was. Eventually, on her journey, she ran across a stout man wearing a yellow suit and green rain boots. He scared her, but he promised, that if she found the vampires and worked with them, she would find out what she was."
The generals laughed at me. "You? The prophesied one!" One of them snorted. "I don't think so."
"Quiet." ordered one of the princes. "It seems she could be the one."
"The one?" I asked. "Could you-"
"Explain?" Asked the Prince, cutting me off.
"Yes." I sighed. "That might help."
The prince nodded and began his story. "Once long, long ago, hundreds of years. Mr. Tiny, the man in the suit, came to the vampires. He told us a woman of great power would come. She would help save us from a threatening being whom he would not name. You, it seems, are the woman of the prophesy."
I smiled "Then, You will help me find out what I am?" I asked hopefully.
"Not I." Replied the vampire, "A single one of us was pointed out to journey with you." I frowned. I had been hoping it would be easier than that.
"Who then?" I asked searching the room warily.
"He is not here with us at this very moment, but I have called for him. He will be here in a few days."
I frowned. "But who is it?"
"Vancha March"
