Well, this is my first story that I've decided isn't too hideous/embarrassing to post, so… Hope you like it!
Oops, almost forgot the disclaimer. I don't own Pokémon, or any of its characters. No need to sue.
"I'll show him. I'll show Daddy that I'm gonna be the best trainer ever. Better than him," a red-haired child muttered bitterly, picking up a small Pokémon.
He was too young to be a Pokémon trainer, so he'd used his own strength to weaken and catch a Rattata. Though he was covered in scratches, the boy felt better than he ever had.
Rattata in one arm, he walked into his house. "Where's Daddy?" he demanded.
Without as much as looking up from her book, his mother replied, "Silver, you know Daddy won't be home for a very long time.
"Daddy's never home!" he yelled, very upset, "If he actually cared about us, then maybe he'd come to see us sometimes!"
"Now Silver, you know Daddy's a very busy man," his mother replied, finally turning to look at him. "Now go put that Pokémon back where it belongs and go play," she said, turning back to her book.
"Yeah, busy with Team Rocket," he muttered, only to himself. He raised his voice back up so his mother could hear him. "You don't get it, Mommy," he said in a cool rage, "No one gets it."
"I hate him!" he screamed, storming outside and slamming the door behind him.
Just a pointless one-shot, but oh well. It was fun to write, so who cares. n_n Feel free to review, anything's accepted.
