The Day Bella Has Her Period

I opened my eyes and got out of bed. It was Saturday. Edward had gone hunting again. I went to fix my bed and noticed something red. I had gotten my period! I took all of my sheets off of my bed and went downstairs and put them into the washer. I ran back upstairs changed my clothes and put on a pad.

I ran downstairs again and put my clothes into the washer and started it.

This is bad. I went and took a shower, a long time. After I got out the doorbell rung. It had to be Alice because she comes over every time Edwards gone. I dug out a perfume bottle that Rene bought for me last Christmas and put on almost half of the bottle. The doorbell rang once more. I hurried down the stairs and opened the front door.

"Hi Alice." I said calmly.

Alice looked at me for a minute.

"Are you OK Bella?"

"Never been better!" I lied through my teeth.

She just gave me a glare.

"Whats that smell?"

"Oh that's my perfume that Rene got for me... You like it?" I asked.

"Yeah its great." She murmured.

She came in and we sat on the sofa.

"So Alice how are thi..."

Before I could finish she was on the phone. She was talking to fast for me to understand so I just sat there.

"Sorry Bella I have to go..."

She got up and was gone before I could stand up. The rest of the weekend went by slowly. By Monday my Period had slown down. I put on the rest of the perfume because it seemed to work on Alice so i Hope it works on Edward. I went downstairs to notice that Charlie was already gone for work. I gathered my stuff and left for school in my truck.

I parked my car next to Edwards car in the parking lot. He was standing there waiting for me.

I smiled. "So how was hunting?"

"I didn't go."

"Oh..." I didn't want to know why.

The rest of the day went by fast. Being with Edward was like being with an angel, No more like a god. School was over, Edward and I were were walking to our cars.

"Bella can we go to the meadow today?"

"Sure, lets just drop off my truck at my house."

He followed behind my truck slowly.

We got to the house and I parked my car and noticed that Charlie wasn't home yet. So I went inside and left a note:

Gone with Edward I'll be back by dinner.

I left the note on the kitchen table and went outside. The passenger's side door was opened. I got in and smiled. He drove fast asking me a question here and there, but it was still awkward. We got to the spot where the trail started. Edward was on my side of the door and opened it for me. He kissed me. It was a unpleasant kiss the exact one from when he left me. It hurt so much. The kiss was over and he put me on his back. I closed my eyes and he ran.

We got there in no time. He put me down and walked far away from me.

" I can't take it anymore..." He whispered.

"Whats wrong Edward?"

"I can smell your blood..."

"Oh that... Um... I'm having my period."

"I'm sorry Bella but the monster had gotten to me"

Before I could say anything he was next to me with his mouth open. Ready for me... I started feeling a burn and everything went black...

I woke up sweating.

"Whats wrong Bella?"

Edward was next to me.

"I Had a dream that you killed me..." I felt him get stiff next to me. But then he relaxed.

"I would never do that Bella." He kissed me and I kissed him back.
