Title: Potential Qualities [1/1]
Finn had definite leading man qualities – nothing more, nothing less. But what about Quinn? What kind of qualities did she possess? Set during the episode Showmance.
A/N: Rachel never fell for Finn when she first heard him sing.
Disclaimer: I own nothing. The only thing I do own is my imagination of things that will probably never ever happen. Still, a girl can dream.
When Finn first sang in the auditorium with the rest of Glee, Rachel felt that already bright light inside of her shine and burn just a little brighter. She had finally found her leading man. And with him, she could actually have a chance to perform.
Sectionals.
Regionals.
And, of course, Nationals.
People would truy see (and hear) the talent that was her own. But later when Quinn and those other two Cheerios appeared and auditioned in the music room, Rachel couldn't stop the previously nonexistent spark that began to form.
Naturally, she cast the sudden discomfort aside. There was no way any of these Cheerios could possibly compete with her as leading lady in Glee Club.
The moment "I Say a Little Prayer" ended Rachel was quick to exit the room.
It was obvious the Cheerios were only joining Glee Club to try to destroy it from the inside out.
Well, she wasn't going to let that happen.
And that (logically) must have been why she felt her chest suddenly tighten.
It had nothing to do with how Rachel noticed the way her skirt seemed to scandalously flare up every time her hips swayed to the music's beat.
Definitely not, Rachel thought with a huff as she continued walking (briskly) to the nearest exit out of McKinley High.
Her previous actions of wanting to discuss certain topics – like giving her, Rachel Berry, more solos – with Mr Schuester were completely forgotten. Never mind, that it was the reason why Rachel was in the music room to begin with when she, as well as the other two girls, arrived to audition.

A/N: Just a little – and really short! – oneshot that I had bouncing about in my mind. And since it is Christmas I thought I'd put this out while I continue to work on my other Glee story. Anyways, I might continue this later but for now it'll remain as a oneshot.
