"Loudpaw get up, time for a-" Rockmask couldn't finish.
"Hunting patrol!" Loudpaw meowed excitedly.
"Uh yeah, well anyway lets' go." Rockmask meowed.
"Ok" mewed Loudpaw, while he sprinted out of the apprentices' den. It had only been three days since the hunter attack, and he had been made an apprentice. Loudpaw came sprinting out of the apprentices' den and crashed into Icepaw. Icepaw fell over and screeched "Hey! Watch where you are going."
"Sorry." meowed Loudpaw as he ran to the clearing. Just then he heard a yowl of pain coming out of the medicine den. So he stopped and went to check out the noise. When he poked his into the medicine den he saw the she-cat Rainpaw. Wow, she is beautiful. Loudpaw thought but then he thought No, she will never see me as a mate so stop thinking about it you idiot.
"Yes?" meowed Rainpaw.
"Wa…oh…uh…umm I-I just smelled blood and…uh" Loudpaw mewed before Rainpaw broke out in giggles.
"Are you ok?"Loudpaw mewed.
"Y-yea it's just funny because I didn't ask you what you were doing." meowed Rainpaw.
"Oh umm… you're bleeding let me help heal you" meowed Loudpaw with anxiety in his voice.
Loudpaw went to the back of the medicine den.
"Ok, here are the poppy seeds and cobweb… where's the moist moss?" meowed Loudpaw.
"Here it is, but why are you in here Loudpaw? You know they went off without you, right?" meowed Coldleaf coming into where she put her herbs at.
"Ahh… where did you come from Coldleaf?" meowed Loudpaw shyly.
"I just came from getting moss for Rainpaw and I can see you already know the herbs and got them out for Rainpaw, but how do you know which one is which?" Coldleaf mewed.
"Well she is hurt she needs to be healed or her cut will get infected. I do not know how I know what she needed, something just tells me which one to pick."Loudpaw meowed.
"Oh, well come here then. You wanted to help Rainpaw, so help me seal up her wound." Coldleaf meowed as she walked to Rainpaw.
"O-ok"Loudpaw meowed timidly as he walked to Rainpaw.
"So I need to wash the wound with the moss first, then cover the wound with the cobweb, finally I give her the poppy seed and tell her to eat it before she goes to sleep. Am I right Coldleaf?"Loudpaw meowed.
"Yes, that is correct Loudpaw very well done" Coldleaf meowed with pride in her voice. Loudpaw picked up the moss in his mouth and started to soak up the blood on Rainpaws leg. Rainpaw yelped as they put moss on the cut on her leg. Loudpaw ignored her yelp and got her cut cleaned up and started to put the cobweb around her leg.
"Ok Rainpaw I'm done, be careful with that leg and eat this poppy seed before you go to sleep tonight."meowed Loudpaw
"O-ok Loudpaw!" Rainpaw meowed and she felt the blood in her cheeks boil up. Idiot! why are you getting so wound up just cause he helped seal my leg wound? she thought to herself.
"I should get going Coldleaf, I missed my hunting patrol so I'm going to go hunting to make up for it." Loudpaw meowed.
"Oh, Loudpaw before you go, can you pick up some more cobwebs? I'm running low on them."Meowed Coldleaf.
"Ok Coldleaf"meowed Loudpaw as he left her.
