Ch. 0 : An Appeal

The Total Drama fanbase just kept getting smaller and smaller, or at least, that's what the producers said. Total Drama Island and Total Drama Action were the most popular seasons of the show, and even World Tour got its fair share of dedicated fans. Yet, Revenge of the Island, All-Stars, and Pahkitew Island, people just weren't that into it. That's why...

"McLean, we're canceling the show."

Chris McLean, supposed host with the most, leaned back in his chair. "I'm sorry, it almost sounded like you said you were 'canceling' the show?" he responded unbelievingly.

In the room, there were four people: Three producers whose names are irrelevant, and Chris McLean; all seated around an oval meeting table.

"I'm glad you heard us," one said, "It means your hearing isn't as bad as the last season's ratings."

Chris stopped leaning in his chair for a second and began frowning. "Wait, are you being serious? You want to end Total Drama now?"

"We can't afford to keep this show, Christopher." Said another, appearing to be a little empathetic. "As much as we love it, the amount we end up spending on medical bills, giant airplanes, and obstacle courses is just way too much for a show that's slowly dying."

At the last word, Chris was offended. "Dying? You think Total Drama is 'dying'?!"

The third producer shrugged. "Definitely, dude. People at home are more into cartoons nowadays. Nick and Gordy, Irregular Show, Fairly Regular Parents, those are the shows getting the big bucks. There's actually a guy comin' in after you looking to start a new show, hear it takes place in a daycare."

"Oh hey, he's up next? Aw man, his idea's so cute."

"Do you think it'll bump up our income?"

"Anything'll bump up our income at this point."

"Hahaha, that's so true. But like, legitimately..."

The producers excitedly talked among themselves while the reality show host thought to himself.

"Alright, listen up." Chris interrupted, causing their heads to turn. "I need 1 more season, just 1 more."

The first producer shook his head. "I'm sorry my guy, your show's dying; we can't keep it on life support."

"Oh, come on, dude!" Chris irritatedly responded, "The show's not dying! The show's not dead! I just need one more season to prove it!"

"Another season's just going to dig us deeper into debt!" The producer responded, "Are you trying to make us bankrupt?!"

Chris McLean shook his head, "No way, dudes. Look, I've got a plan... And if this doesn't work, I'll totally let you shut down Total Drama. Like, forever."

The producers looked at each other and began whispering before turning back to Chris.

"...We're listening."

A/N: Howdy everyone! It's been a while since I've written any legitimate stories, so let me come to you with this: Total Drama Revival.

Synopsis: The producers say Total Drama is dead, but let's prove them wrong! Chris is coming back for an all or nothing season, mixing up elements of the game in hopes of entertaining current fans, old fans, and even attracting new ones. Is this season going to be a hit? Or is this season going to rhyme with it? (SYOC)

This time, Chris McLean is taking 18 teenagers to the North Pole to compete for $750,000. In this season, three elements will be added: The rival band, the lucky mitten, and the dirty diary. If you are voted to be eliminated, the rival (head)band allows you to take someone down with you. If you are voted to be eliminated, the lucky mitten cancels out all the votes and a revote will be done. Lastly, the dirty diary contains dirt on every single contestant, possibly giving someone an edge in the game.

All that being said, here's what you're actually looking for: the SYOC. Please PM me your form, please refrain from reusing characters from active stories, and please don't make a character's backstory overly dramatic. You can find the form on my profile or ask me to PM it to you!
