My Honor, My Life
A/N I do not own Storm Hawks. If I did, it would actually be shown on TV...
What use is honor? The Cyclonians have no honor!
Honor is overrated.
Honor doesn't matter- surviving does.
I've heard it all before. Sometimes I've even heard it from my own squadron- although they never said it to my face, always behind my back. That might be what hurts me the most.
The Code is my life. Others mock it or look at it as something that was. For me, its an everyday reality. If I did not live by the Code, where would my life be? I would be no better than one of the barbaric Cyclonians.
My honor is what makes me different than my enemies. Some say it's a waste of time. But if I gave up on my honor how would I be different than my enemies? Good and evil? There is neither. Cyclonians think what they do is right. They see the Sky Knights as evil and vice-versa.
After all, wasn't it Cyclonia who ruled over Atmos before the Sky Knight Council intervened?
It was my ancestor who had helped bring Cyclonia down; the first Sky Knight was a Rex Guardian. The reason why he won was because he fought with honor- something the Cyclonians didn't- and still don't- have.
I am mocked because I have honor. I am mocked by Cyclonians and even by other Sky Knights. But they don't understand. They think the only thing that is important is life.
But my honor is my life.
A/N Meh... This sounded good in my head but it didn't come out as well on paper. Oh well... I kind of like Harrier. (That's who this is about, if you couldn't tell.)
