Hitokiri Battousai
Who am I?
A Killer...
My amber eyes flash death in the bitter night
A sword in hand, a blade forged to kill
My world is the color of blood
Everywhere...
I cannot rid the vile taste of hot blood
Everywhere...
Blood sprayed on my hands and my shadowed face
A flame of evil blackens my sight
In this time of war, everything is dark
Purity is tainted with malice
This is my life; this is who I chose to be
But deep inside my soul
A young heart lies buried within...
But who am I?
Just a killer...
A Rurouni
Who am I?
A wanderer...
My soul bound by my heart
A reverse blade sword at my belt
I must protect the innocent
But I cannot forget
I am a swordsman
For that is all I know
Memories left behind
Plunging my dreams into darkness
The killer still lies, dormant within me
Never to return
As long as I hold all life sacred
Even my own
I will not revert to him...
