"Doorways! Doorways! Doorways! How many doors are in this stupid castle?" I mumbled to myself.
"How hard is it to find a blue and black door?" I said to no one in particular, as I slumped against the wall. Checking my watch, I realized that I had started looking for my room over two hours ago. I groaned as I pushed myself up from the floor. Walking towards the end of the hall, a note on a black and sky blue door caught my eye. Reading the note proved that this was my room.
"Finally!" I sighed in relief as I opened the door. As I looked around, I saw that everything was either black or sky blue, my favorite colors. The windows were open so that I could see that I had gotten the highest room in Castle Dark. The sky was a pleasant blue, with no clouds whatsoever.
"Do you like your room?" I heard from behind me. Turning around, I saw a man with blond hair standing in the doorway. His glowing green eyes gazed over me as my ice-blue eyes gazed over him. "My name's Ven. I'll be your guide to show you around the castle," he said with a bow.
"My name is Morgan," I chuckled at his humor. "You can come in, you know," He smirked as he stepped inside the doorway.
"My sister's the one who decorated your room. She said that you loved these colors," Ven announced, while looking around the room. I nodded.
"Well, why don't you show me around the castle abit?" I finally commented. At my words, he turned and started walking down the hall. I yelped and ran after him, but when I got out into the hallway, I couldn't find him! I was about to turn around when I saw glowing green eyes, staring me right in the eye! Stepping back, I realized that Ven was standing on the ceiling.
"Hey, Morgan, like my abilities?" he grinned. I rolled my eyes and he hopped down, landed on his hands, and then did a back flip onto his feet.
"Showoff," I sighed "If you think that's cool, check this out!" I yelled then laid my hands on the wall. Within seconds, the entire wall was covered in ice. "Why do you think they call me Miss Icicle?"
"How did you do that?" Ven asked in amazement. I took my hands off of the wall and the ice vanished, and then wrote something in the air. Ice was trailing from my fingers and, as I wrote, the ice formed the words 'My Powers'. Ven chuckled.
"Well, let's go see the rest of the castle. I'm tired of seeing a hallway!" I said while snapping my fingers.
"Yes, Miss Icicle!" he said with another bow. We both laughed as we walked down the hall. This is gonna be a fun time at Castle Dark!
