Alex was sitting on the sidewalk starin goff into th distance mason said he love juliet right in front of her, how could she have ever fooled herself by believing... tears fell from her dark eyes how could she have believed that lie about the true love necklace.
people passed her, some bumoed into her, and others openly complained. she didn't care though; she didn't care that mascara ran down her face, she didn't care that her brother had yelled at her to come back as she left the building, but she did care that now she felt alone and unloved.
"are you allright," came a slightly familiar voice.
she sniffed and mumbled "mmhmm"
"are you sure?" came the low male voice
she looked up only to see "zack?" she asked. the blond boy smiled at her
"are you all right?" he asked her which brought a small smile to her face because she felt like he genuinelly cared about her. "I'm fine." she said. He sat next to her and she burried her head into his sholder.
And right at that they both realized something, alex realized that it was never mason she loved and zack realized that there was no other girl in the world he cared for more...
