Neither Kurt or Sebastian thought that their monthly baking session was going to end like this.
When Kurt returned from the store after he picked up all the materials Sebastian forgot to bring, it started out like every other day they got to spend to together.
Kurt was usually busy on weekdays and Sebastian was out to do shows at the bar down the road every 3rd Saturday.
So, the days when both of them were home and got nothing to do, they either did something Kurt liked or what Sebastian liked.
"It's your turn to decide what to do today." Kurt whispered from where he was cuddled up in Sebastian's arms, his voice still rough from last night.
"Mhmm-don't wanna." Sebastian mumbled back, Kurt barely figured out what he just said.
"You usually look forward to the days you get to pick something out." his boyfriend smiled against Sebastian's chest because his suggestions usually involve sex.
Not that Kurt was going to complain.
"Sleepy." Sebastian closed his arms around Kurt's body and pulled him even closer.
"Nope, none of this. Up, get clothed, it's your turn to go buy stuff and since you won't pick something out, I might have a idea."
Sebastian groaned when Kurt pushed himself off the bed and went towards the bathroom. His smile turning into a smirk, when Kurt wiggled his ass as he walked.
So here there are now. All the ingredients are packed on the small kitchen table next to the sink. Kurt is reading over the receipt one more time and then smiles to himself.
"Let's get this over and done with. I'm starving."
"What are we baking?" Sebastian asks as he looks at all the stuff that is packed in front of him.
"Gingerbread Men."
"I thought I was the only man in your life." Sebastian grins at Kurt, who answers with bumping his hip playfully into Sebastian's.
"Hand me the flour, please."
"Of course, chef." Sebastian takes a small bow next to Kurt.
"Thank you." They smile at each other for a moment before Kurt turns back to what he was doing.
After Kurt poured the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves together in the bowl, he whisks them together until it's well blended.
He turns around to grab the butter from the refrigerator when he suddenly feels something soft hit the back of his head and neck.
Kurt's mouth opens, his lips forming a "oh" as he turns back around.
"Oh, Bastian, you did not."
Sebastian hides his smile behind his hand as he tries not to giggle at Kurt's expression.
"Revenge is a bitch."
"Like you wou-"
Sebastian can't even finish his sentence as a spoon full of flour collides with his face. His eyes are tightly closed, his right hand stroking through his hair and over his nose. He's pretty sure no one should have flour at those places.
Kurt starts giggling as soon as he looks at Sebastian's shocked face.
Soon enough they're throwing baking materials at each other.
Sebastian's covered in yellow-brown powder when Kurt throws the leftovers of ginger powder at him.
He giggles endlessly until Sebastian blows a handful of cinnamon in his face.
He can't help but laugh at Kurt's reaction but stops as soon as he notices Kurt's coughing.
"Are you okay, sweetheart?"
Kurt's cough turns into a smirk as he throws some of the already melted butter in Sebastian's face.
"You are such a-" He cuts off as he takes a quick step forwards and wraps his arms around Kurt.
Kurt lets out a strangled cry as Sebastian holds him close and cracks an egg open right above his head.
"SEBASTIAN SMYTHE, I'M. GOING. TO. KILL. YOU!"
Sebastian giggles, actually giggles, Kurt's not sure if he ever heard such a noise coming from his boyfriend's mouth.
"Let's take a bath." he whispers in Kurt's ear and kisses the skin below.
"Sounds good." Kurt mumbles as the warmth of Sebastian's breath runs through his body.
Sebastian gives him a small kiss on his lips.
"Come on then." he says and drags Kurt towards the bathroom.
