A/N. I just felt I had to write these little oneshots... I didn't edit them, I just thought I should let them come. I kinda put myself into sasuke's character and wrote straight out of his head, so sorry it isn't fluid- but then again, who's thoughts are?
'Sakura...'
That name... one he would surely not forget. As Sasuke began to make his way through the gates of Konoha, he looked up at the cherry trees, limbs bowing to the wind- thoughts of the pink-haired kunoichi filled his mind.
She was annoying.
Blooming for only a few days and quickly withering; Her fickle nature irked him. Her temper snapped like a cherry-twig and she was as easily bruised as the blossom petals... and when she shed blood, he shed tears.
She was intoxicating.
Like the trees he could not help but be drawn to her at his own inconvenience- she was a distraction, he should be training... The thick scent of the blossoms filled his lungs and dulled the loud, frantic thoughts in his head.
She was his solace.
The shade, the raincover, the strong boughs of the cherry tree; the warm smile, the kind words, the open arms of the kunoichi. She was his strength and she made him weak, fighting off the shadows he worked so hard to wrap around himself.
The enigma, the little girl who grew up- who saw a thousand sunsets with him and taught him how to love- his Sakura.
