The Idiot

I'm back with a new track! I'm into changes of pace for the human race. I can rhyme on a dime but I hate it, so let's move on.

Summary: There was a boy who was playful. He had short blonde hair and a hyperactive personality. He, by everyone he knew, was known as….the idiot. That's right. The IDIOT. Naru x Other random Leaf-Nin.

Naruto ran down the streets of Konoha, happy as he could muster for once in a long while. He had just eaten some ramen, and it seemed as if it were an energy to drink to the ADHD ninja. Craziness I say, CRAZINESS. Ahem. Anyway, he took a sharp turn around the corner to be placed face to face with one whom he once called an enemy.

"Kaze Kage-Sama!" Naruto exclaimed, pulling the new kazekage into a hug. Gaara shifted uncomfortably, one because he wasn't used to hugs, and two, Naruto's leg was digging into his inner thigh.

"Erm, Naruto. Please, get off of me. This is quite uncomfortable for…me." He wheezed almost in-coherently.

Naruto pushed off of Gaara without objection, and quickly took a bow.

"I apologize, lord KazeKage-Sama." He muttered quickly.

Gaara sighed for a moment before massaging one of his temples.

"It's quite alright, Naruto-Kun. But please, don't call me Kazekage. You know me enough by now to call me by my name." he tried to say it as assertively as possible.

Naruto simply blinked as a small blush crept across his face. He stood upright, and brushed off his clothes, killing the imaginary specs of dust on him.

"Gomenesai, Gaara-Sama."

Gaara shook his head, sighing. He just doesn't get it, does he? A small smile graced his pale lips, and then he turned towards the Hokage tower.

Naruto came up behind him, smiling on his shoulder.

"You know, we're gonna have meetings together up there one day too, Gaara-Sama. When I become hokage!"

Gaara smiled small, and walked away slowly from Naruto, heading for his destination.

"You keep it up with that dream." He said simply.

Naruto smiled bright as Gaara left his blue-eyed sight.

Gaara looked back one last time and he lifted the brim of his hat slightly.

He's such an idiot sometimes he thought with a smile as he entered the Hokage's office.
