It's Okay To Be Scared

I wrote this after the seeing the new doctor who series season premiere.
Clara wandered around the control panel of the Tardis looking at the circular object on the walls. While the new doctor waited outside giving her a minute to adjust Clara lets her eyes wander around the Tardis forcing her self to blink away her tears. Clara looked to the door she knew that he was the doctor but even now after that phone call she couldn't accept it was she still scared of him?
The Tardis hummed once more alerting the brunette to a new presence. Soon Clara looked from the door to see a young blond woman standing in front of her with a warm smile on her face. Clara noticed that within the woman's blue eyes was a golden tint.
"Hm I guess it's my turn then." The woman said in a gentle tone.
"Who...Who are you?" Clara asked.
"A former companion, I am here to tell you its okay be scared." The woman said.
Clara leaned on the control panel shaking her head the blond lass merely smiles and leans on the panel next to her.
"He's too much to handle." Clara said
"They all are... in the beginning." The blond replied.
Clara look over at the woman who merely smiled once more. Soon the two of them began to reminisce about their adventures with the doctor. The two of them laughed as did the Tardis hum loudly.
the blond took a deep breath and stood up she turned Clara and took her hands into hers.
"When my Doctor regenerated I was scared as well, he was hard to handle in his manic state but I managed. Even after that I still held my fear for him but it after a while it melted away.
Clara blinked away a few more tears before nodding in reply. The blond sighed contently as golden tint in her eyes glowed brightly Clara backed away.
"My time is up I must depart, just remember its okay to be scared in the beginning it makes the adventures more fun in the end. "the blond woman said with a smile.
Clara smiled as the blond lass disappeared from view the Tardis hummed loudly and Clara nodded she stood up and gave the control panel a gentle tap before walking over to the main doors.
"Thank you I needed that." Clara said a loud to the Tardis.
The main doors opened and a smile fell upon Clara's lips as she ran though the doors. It was time to start all over again a new doctor and new adventures await Yes she is scared but its going to be alright for its okay to be scared once in a while.
