AN: This is pure crack, inspired by a friend. Don't take it seriously, kay?
All was well.
Harry was visiting Hogwarts, where James and Albus Severus, had, once again, gotten in trouble. Ginny was at home with Lily and Hermione was visiting them.
The Headmasters regarded him as he looked around the familiar office. Dumbledore gestured a ghostly hand to a tin of candy, "Lemon sours, Mr. Potter? I would open them for you, but I seem to be unable."
"Why offer the boy candy? His children are just as truant as he was, he hardly needs sugar." Severus grumped.
"No thank, Headmasters." Harry replied. "Was that all?"
"I would say do something to keep your spawn under control, Potter, but I know it is a lost cause. I imagine you probably encourage them in their pranks." The ghost of Snape grumbled and floated out of the office.
"I'll try and talk to them." Harry promised Dumbledore, and the ghost smiled genially.
"Reminds you of old times, doesn't it?" Albus murmured wistfully. "You may go, you should visit more. You're staying in Hogsmeade tonight? I imagine Neville will will drop by."
Harry made a noncommittal grunt and exited the office, wandering down the familiar corridors. Most of the students where in class at this time of day, so Hogwarts seemed almost deserted. His meandering footsteps took him past the Gryffindor Tower, down near the great hall, and, at last, to the Dungeon, where he lingered in the doorway of the potions classroom, memories wandering through his mind like stray Snitches, a glimpse of one, then gone in a flash.
"Something I can help you with, Potter?"
Harry did not start at the voice, but turned around to regard Headmaster Snape, or his ghost, with a neutral expression. He did not answer. For a while they looked at each other, then the door to the classroom closed slowly, and Severus approached.
Some time later.
"You got ectoplasm in my hair." Harry commented a touch testily.
"Well pardon me for being excited to see you." Severus growled.
"You, excited? Mmm, we'll see about that."
They knocked over quite a few cauldrons before they realized they had an audience.
"Told you." the smirking Scorpius turned to regard a rather ashen faced James. "Pay up."
James groaned and gave Harry a pained look, then turned around and dip kissed the smirking Malfoy full Hollywood style.
"No snogging in my classroom!" Snape roared, "Fifty points from Gryffindor! Oh, and Malfoy, very sly of you. Ten points to Slytherin."
Yes Harry mused, it was just like old times after all. "James? Would you shut the door on your way out?"
"Sure dad."
