Chapter 1: Rivalry only
Prologue
"Never Again."
Those were the words I told Shadow before I left, what he took from those words depended on what he remembered from the other day.

It was a normal day, I – of course – was racing Shadow. This race now started to intensify, hastened breath, pounding hearts, Shadow undeniably wanted to win this one. With finish line ahead, I slowed my pace, – as we always do because normally our stopping points consist of trees, towns, and cliffs that we don't want to crash into or fly off of – when I noticed Shadow didn't plan on doing the same. Sure this wasn't a cliff and rather a small hill, but the hill ended in large trees that were condensed together to create a dangerously sturdy forest. Crashing into those trees would crush bone of even the 'ultimate life form'.
Of course having an injured and annoyed ebony hedgehog on my hands wasn't something I wanted, so I reached out to grab his arm and help him slow down. He really didn't have slowing down in mind. He yanked his arm forward to get out of my grip, resulting in me being pulled forward into him. We tumbled and flipped down the earlier mentioned hill until we bashed into a tree. Luckily no serious injuries had happened, just scrapes and bruises, on the other hand, unluckily for me I ended up with the grumpy hedgehog on top of me, his sloe knee nudged between my thighs.
"Heh, heh! Well Shads sorry for making you fall! I just didn't want a broken emo hedgehog to have to care for!" I joked, trying to lighten the awkward atmosphere – and mainly get the other off of me –.
He stared.
He watched me from above, his chin hanging down in a gape. What was running through his mind right now as he gazed down upon my outstretched writhing body? I had no clue… but whatever it was, was horrifically sexual. He reached down and grabbed my rear – later saying he was reaching for my back which I thought was a lie – gripping it firmly in his palm.
"Whoa! Hey, hey! Hands off the merch Shads!" I joked, thinking – at that time – that he was only joking or trying to get me flustered. He just continually gawked a kneaded the soft flesh of my rump.
I punched him as hard as I could.
His head turned in shock, I growled and wiggled out from under him.
"Shadow what in Chaos do you think you're doing!?" I couldn't believe he did that, what could have possibly ran through his mind that made him want to do that? Shadow sat on his haunches and looked to the dirt.
"I'm sorry…" He mumbled softly. I coughed before running off quickly, not wanting to make him think I forgave him.
*Current Time*
"Let me go…" Shadow mumbled as he grabbed my arm to try and convince me to stay. Once again trying to 'make it up to me' for the incident.
"Fuck… off…" I growled before thrusting into the unknown dimensions portal.
The large leaves that make up the canopy above steamed in the now morning sun. Foliage bowed softly in the wake of the blue speed demon that rushed to find Mobian life, and possibly a Chaos Emerald.
"Chaos! This place is gonna roast me!" The blue hedgehog complained loudly to no one in particular. He sped dangerously through the thicket of trees, his cardinal and ivory shoes padded vehemently along the low bushes and soil.
"YOO HOO! ANYONE HOME!?" Sonic shouted through the jungle to grab ahold of the attention of any passerby. Unluckily for him, he grabbed the attention of something – or rather someone – that he wouldn't originally wanted to.
Welp, yeah… I keep saying im gonna continue the different stories but I've been inactive.
So Ima try and keep this one if you guys like it…
