Hey everyone! This is an alternate ending that I wrote for Gravity Falls: Reborn, by HowToLoveADragon. Don't worry, I have their permission to write this. It is a short one shot that is not meant to be taken seriously. Gravity Falls belongs to Alex Hirsch and Macie belongs to HowToLoveADragon.

Macie sat on the bus seat, her gaze fixed on her brother and sister. Mabel had her head leaned against the window while Dipper was staring down at a piece of paper. Signatures were scrawled out across it in all colors, with sweet messages from friends. Macie leaned over and let her fingers brush across the page, taking in the feeling of the still damp ink. It stained her fingers, adding a little color to her pale skin. Dipper looked up with a smile and offered her the paper.

If you've ever taken a road trip through the Pacific Northwest, you've probably seen a bumper sticker for a place called Gravity Falls.

Macie took it, the paper crumpling in her fist. Her eyes darted over the paper, reading it, but not taking in the words. To her, they were just names, from people who weren't real. Her eyes focused on one specific signature that looked out of place. I've been waiting, Macie. Her eyes blurred with tears as she recognized the handwriting from what seemed like a lifetime ago. An image of a hand scrawling the words in her notebook, no idea that they would reach her sister.

It's not on any maps, and most people have never heard of it. Some people think it's a myth. But if you're curious, don't wait.

Macie looked down at her hands and was unsurprised to see her fingers slowly vanishing. Under any other circumstances, she would have screamed, but now a feeling of peace swept over her, telling her that everything would be all right.

Take a trip. Find it.

The numb feeling crept up Macie's body and her hands started vanishing faster. Small tendrils of light were creeping up from the floor, wrapping themselves around Macie. They crept up her body, covering her in the soft, golden light. Soon, all you could see of the girl was a ball of light. Her siblings didn't seem to notice as small beams landed on them, wrapping around their heads like crowns.

It's out there somewhere in the woods. Waiting.

Slowly, Macie's body dissolved into light. At the same moment, all memories of the summer were chased from her siblings minds as they became twins once more. The paper drifted to the floor, all the signatures faded except for one in a handwriting neither of the twins would recognize. It's time to come home.
