Gozaburo sighed tiredly and ran a hand through his thinning hair. The day had been full and frankly he was exhausted. He passed by his son's room and was surprised to find the lights still on and a small voice coming from within.
The old man peeked through the crack in the door and saw young Noa kneeling by his beed, saying the alphabet as though it were a prayer.
When the child had finished, Gozaburo crept inside and tucked him in. He asked the greenette what he was doing and Noa replied:
"I am praying, but I can't think of the exact and right words. So I'm just saying all the letters in the alphabet and God will put them together for me because he knows what's inside my heart."
