The rain came down on the New York Natasha stood in all black at Stark tower. Feeling cold and empty, she remember the last time she saw Clint.

The room was cold and unkind she sat next to the one man who ever knew her better then she did, gave his life to keep her safe, who loved her even if they never said it out loud to each other but that man was now on life support. How could this happen to him the most undeserving man? why not me I'm the one with a red ledger? these questions ran wild around her head. She let him in, she let him love her, but why did he have to go and leave her like this and now? so soon. There was so much she wanted to tell him, the thing being that she loved him. The spy took hold of his cold pale hand and spoke with a broken voice.

"Clint I don't know if you can hear me but I wanted to tell you that I.." She was cut of by her own tears. "I love you, you cant leave me Barton not like this, Stay with me Clint please." And with this his breathing slowed and his blood presser dropped along with his heart rate.

"This is not goodbye Barton, I won't let you go like this." He kissed his forehead. "Come back t me." She stroked his hair. "Just hang on for me."

The hours that past were help for Natasha. Clint only got worse after that and it was breaking her hart to see him like this. Member of the team came and sat with her so she wasn't alone but none of them talked because rally what do you say. They just looked at each other and some would say the were talking with just there eyes. It got later and the team left so it was just Natasha all on her own with him again. She wouldn't leave him alone.

The hour that followed that was Clint Barton's last.

Natasha held onto the last thing she had of Clint's and that was one of this tops with she stole from him because it helped her sleep, it kept the nightmares away when he wasn't there to sit up with her and make hr feel better but now he wasn't coming back he wasn't going to walk through the door of her room and hugged her and tell her everything is okay, that she was safe. The rain never seem to stop from the time he died. The was always there when something bad happened to either of them and it never stopped.

She was so lost in her own thoughts she didn't even see Steve who was standing in the doorway and with his head down also in black. "He would have laughed at us today." Steve said and looked up at her. Natasha nodded as her tears fell. "That he would have and call us babies." She knew the man better then anyone. "Natasha you know you have us if you need to talk about anything." Steve always a good friend to have at hard times like this. "I know but there not much to say Steve, He gone and I never told him how I felt." She just let the tear fall and Steve moved over and put his hand on her shoulder. "Natasha, Clint knew that you loved him, everyone knows you do." Natasha wiped the tear from her eyes and sighed. "Everyone but ,me." She sighed. "I'm not saying goodbye to him, Steve because it's not goodbye, I'll see him again, I know I will."
