Ok so I've not written a Haven fic for a very long time but I recently watched an episode that inspired me to write this short.

Her Eyes
Nathan looked at Audrey who stood before him her big blue eyes searched his face waiting for an answer.
He always wondered why her eyes looked so wise. Nathan remembered thinking that as soon as she'd really stared at him. Now he realised. Sarah and Lucy had seen through those eyes too.
Sarah was different to Audrey but they were almost the same. Remembering the moment on the beach where her fingers touched his face and made him feel the lines of warmth running down his cheek and how soft they were.
Looking back at her sitting alone on the beach those blue eyes warm and familiar made him turn back. Sarah was everything Audrey was and more. In her arms he remembered the way Audrey had held him.
Her lips were Audrey's lips so confident and trusting at they met his.
Looking at Audrey as the sun filtered through her blonde hair he'd experienced twice now how her ability to break through his trouble and make him feel again always surprised him.
He remembered the moment those blue eyes met his and her touch took his breath away.
Now he realised that he'd always loved her and that love extended to an earlier version of the woman that had walked into his world and changed it all simply by a touch.
