You promised me you'd stay . that you would never leave me .but here I sit lost in my thoughts .how I miss the feel of your arm's around me. the smell of your hair .the look of love that always shinned in your eyes. the feel of you kissing the tears away when the hurt became to much. so why is it I am left here alone .my heart is broken .I can feel the ghost of your touch on my lips. the soft touch of your hand working it way down my body. I long to run my hands throw your hair to see the smile in your eyes. to watch you walk down the stairs with that shy smile playing on your lips. the smell of your perfume that always lingered in the room after you had left. the way you would send a small note just to say you loved me. You promised me you'd stay . I still don't understand it .the sound of laughter and joy has gone from our home. the silence of it is deafening. our children have come and gone back to there own life's .here I sit wanting you to come to me. so I can hold you and kiss those wonderful lips that I miss so .I think back to our wedding day. watching you make your way down to me it still takes my breath away to see your smile as you taking my hand and stand before our friends and family. The memories that we shared seem so long ago .I remember the look of love as you held our child in your arm when she was born. I long to go back to the life that we had before you left. I long to walk in to our home and see you standing in the kitchen cooking. I walk throw our home and everywhere I look I see piece's of our life the picture's of us in Paris. you smiling with love shining in your eyes so open and true .I sit with the picture of you in my hands and I run my fingers over it . I wish to feel the real you again. the tears that have fallen could fill a ocean. I sit at night in our bed room and close my eyes. at time I can almost feel you snuggled up against me and the rise and fall of your breathing. your eyes fill my dreams . the soft I love you still hangs in the air when I wake and I find you have gone. my heart will never be hole until I have you back in my arm .you are my one and only love there will be no other for me .you our my heart and soul. I know we will be together again soon my heart cant take the distance. I will look for you when I get there. please know that I have only loved you from the began it was only you. when we meet again the first kiss will be the sweetest . just to be able to look in to your eyes I would trade everything I own.
