Every pirate honored the call, Percy Jackson new this well enough. Being left in the time when the sea was as untamed as the underworld itself, he found his way. Owing a favor to a certain captain who later came back, as if from the dead, and asked for said favor. War was coming, the call had been made, the pirate lords were to be united. Percy was asked to come to accompany Barbossa and Elizabeth to convince Sao Feng to honor the call.

He hummed a tune softly to himself as he sat behind Miss Swan, the song she sang seemed to reverberate deep into his core. He only recently learned it, but it felt like he knew the tune as if from a deep part of his mind.

Percy wasn't sure why, he was just a washup that was taken aboard a ship brought to Tortuga. The ship was a band of pirates, he must have had the sea gods luck that the captain was a nice one, having given him directions to the pub. Which was where he met Barbossa, after a chat with the captain and being helped into joining a ship. He owed the man a favor.

Percy made his way in the world, starting out as a simple deck man, but when he managed to lead the crew through a storm that near took the captains life, he was made the right hand. It was about a year ago, he was near 20 now, at least he felt he knew that much. The crew disbanded after the desecration of the ship by the hands of the EIC and Percy was never named heir, despite many saying as right hand he technically was. He and the few crew members luckily escaped.

He did not mind, as at the time he was asked the help to honor the call. In his time as right hand aboard the Sea Treader, he was taught by the captain The Code, the tricks of being a pirate also. For that, Percy again thanked the sea god, for he felt the god must really like him.

Many pirates weren't as religious as he was, but it felt comfortable to offer a small portion of food or gold to the sea. It had never betrayed him when he asked, even in the storms he managed to lead them out of danger.

Landing on the rocks, Percy followed Elizabeth out, he felt unsure about the silence. It was almost uneasy. He was right when a man came out, "Heave, Ho, thief and beggar, never say we die." He sang as he smirked, possibly thinking Elizabeth was alone until he noticed Percy who gripped his sword tightly.

"So not alone." He commented, looking Percy up and down.

"Most defiantly not alone." Another said as Percy looked over to see Barbossa, he walked out in all his glory. Percy often rolled his eyes at the act of all high and mighty.

The man looked at him, "You protect her?" he asked then looked startled as Elizabeth held a gun to him, Percy smirked he learned fast that like the girl he once knew Elizabeth was not to be messed with. He could almost tell the gods favored her also, even if she did not know it.

Percy snapped out of his thoughts, he often had trouble concentrating and reading. He fit right in as most pirates had trouble reading also. "And an unexpected death might cast a slight pal on our meeting." Elizabeth looked at him as Percy watched her let him go. Barbossa smirked at him catching his attention. "Nice to see you agreed to help Percy. We best be on our way." He said as Percy nodded saying nothing as he followed beside Elizabeth, not liking the men one bit.

He felt things were going to get more complicated now."
