Stepping lightly Natasha approached the glass container which held Loki. She stopped and locked her eyes on him, watching his every move. In a matter of hours him and Thor would be back in Asgard with the tesseract. They had defeated Loki and his army now all they had to do was make sure he didn't escape. Again.
As time went on, Loki grew even more bored in his container. His captors hadn't even bothered providing him with entertainment. Though they would probably say 'he didn't deserve it' or something like that. Once he noticed the red head known as 'Natasha', a smirk appeared on his face. "Well well... Have you come to bid me a teary fair well?" he asked, expecting a rude reply.
"Tears of joy maybe" she shot back and took a seat, her eyes remained on him "I've come to make sure you don't escape" she informed him. She folded her arms across her chest and flicked her hair from her face.
Well I've been perfectly fine all this time, why would I suddenly be able to escape?" he asked, laughing a little dryly. A small part of Loki actually regretted having made so many enemies on Earth, though it was a planet in need of conquering. If only they had chosen to serve him rather than protect their precious ball of dirt.
"Well we don't know if you have anymore minions you can call to let you out" she replied simply, she couldn't help the anger which escaped in her voice, after all he did take her best friend Clint as one of his minions.
She raised a brow and sighed "So, what form of punishment do you think you'll be suffering back at home?" She asked out of boredom and interest. Thor didn't mention anything of Loki's future, for all she knew he would be allowed to run free.
Loki suddenly turned uncharacteristically silent and turned to face the complete opposite direction: a shiver running through him. "I dare not think about it~" he replied, yet again reminded of his return to the place he once called home.
She watched him and couldn't help but feel just a little bit bad for him, although she knew he deserved it. "Well I doubt Thor will allow anything to extreme. He cares about you, although after all you have done I struggle to see why."
"I suppose he clings onto the hope that I will.. 'see sense'" Loki spat, turning to face Natasha again, his face twisted with rage.
Unlike the first time she had encountered Loki Natasha didnt even flinch. She stared at Loki "Yes he does. Is it so difficult for you to do that?" she asked, standing up and walking towards the glass "Is it so difficult for you to step down and be proud of what your brother has achieved instead of trying desperately to rule a world that inst yours?"
Loki glared at the red head, his fury now more directed at you. "You know nothing if my problems, woman!" he spat, suddenly closer to the class.
She leaned back slightly "Adopted, lied too, living in a shadow. The usual" she answered back calmly. "Things would be more bearable if you talked things out rather then act on your anger"
