I needed revenge.
I was going to get back at her. Nobody falls asleep in MY closet and gets away with it!
So I set to planning. The questions were what had she stalk-proofed, and when would she be gone long enough for me to find a hiding spot?
Eventually, I snuck to her room when she went to get Brother un-stuck from under Yuna's bed. WHY Brother had taken a page out of my (and Rikku's) book, nobody knew. And why he was under her bed, nobody wanted to know.
I got into her room – having picked the lock - and glanced around. No lazers, no spy cameras, no alarms. Good. So I slowly opened her closet door and smirked at the floor. Tape? Pfft.
I stuck my head in to look around for more traps and accidentally bumped my head on a wall.
I knew immediately something was terribly, terribly wrong. My head was stuck to the wall, and not just that – I was stuck by my hair.
I let out a rather girly scream and continued to shout for help until, of course, the one person I didn't want to see entered the room – Cid's Girl. I could tell it was her because she was humming Real Emotion, and she's the ONLY one who doesn't hate that song yet. (Even Yuna got tired of it after a while.)
Her humming stopped, and when she started laughing hysterically, I guessed she'd seen my butt sticking out of her closet. After she had some air in her lungs, she wheezed, "You – fell – for – it!"
My eyes narrowed. "This is NOT the time, Cid's Girl! My HAIR is stuck to the WALL!"
That made her laugh harder still. But all I could do was try not to move my head, unless I wanted to lose some of my precious hair to the wall's super-glued grip.
In the end, Brother and Yuna poked their heads into the room to see what the noise was. Once Cid's Girl had stopped laughing, she tried to pull my head off the wall, a random giggle escaping her whenever I muttered darkly about my hair.
"Who's –?" Yuna began, but her cousin interrupted in a sing-song voice, "GIPPAL'S STUCK IN MY CLOSET! GIPPAL'S STUCK IN MY CLOSET!"
Even more humiliated than I had been when Cid's Girl had found me, I attempted to defend myself. "It's not my fault! I, uh, was looking at her, uh, shoes."
Long pause.
"Yeah, yeah, her shoes!" I continued. "I, uh, wanted to see what kinds she had, so I didn't, er, get her the same pair for, um, her birthday."
Another long pause.
"I'll get the scissors," Yuna muttered, darting out of the doorway.
"NO YOU DON'T!" I screamed.
The next day I was forced to wear a hat. It was either that or have people ask who tried to shave my head.

Two lessons learned from this. One: stop buying so much of Clasko's old glue.
Lesson two?
Never, ever, EVER give Yuna scissors.
Oh yeah, and Cid's Girl? You'll pay for this.
HEY! COME BACK HERE WITH MY HAT!
