Izumo walked into that old house of theirs, groceries in hand, as she'd had the time to swing by the store on her way back from a mission that had lasted nearly all day.
Her partner in life was inside their little apartment, barely built for two, let alone the family that they'd been thinking about more so lately.
She walked in to find him curled up on the couch, an old book of his in hand, memorizing and rememorizing the contents of it the way that he did.
Izumo smiled, even if she shouldn't find it cute; it was so him and just fit so nicely with all that he was that it definitely was cute to find him like that.
She loved her husband despite how long and hard he'd had to convince her to give this a chance though Bon wasn't the begging or pleading sort, just a hint more stubborn, almost rebellious in some ways.
Izumo definitely appreciated all of that since those were some of the qualities that made him so unique, that made him the man that she loved.
Bon had somehow slipped into her life and nearly became everything to her in an instant; she couldn't help how that made her love him all the more.
Ryuuji was as much a part of her life as her little sister was, as important as she was to Izumo, and one day, may be they'd have more little, important people in their lives. Children to hold, to love, to take care of, and generally, watch grow into hopefully responsible and smart adults.
She was sure that no matter what happened, the two of them would get through every bump on the road together.
