Full Summary:
Two sisters find a map in the attic of the house their parents leave them after they die. On the map, is the location to four different burial sites on their property. What happens when they decide to do a little spelunking of there own? Is the map a map of burial sites? Or something much more interesting? And how does this have anything to do with the 15th District? Is one of the sisters a cop?
The Map:
Dario and Stephanie Jackson were sisters a few years apart when there story began. Both daughters of two famous Treasure Hunters, they never thought they themselves would ever become what their parents had become. Treasure Hunters were known to obsess about the Hunt they were on and both Dario and Stephanie had been with there parents the day the Hunt turned deadly. Dario being four years older than Stephanie at the time of her birth knew what to expect from their parents. Stephanie just thought that there parent's job was cool.
When Dario was in the twelfth grade and Stephanie was in the ninth grade, there parents took them out of school and went looking for Alexander's Library, a Hunt that would end in tragedy. Alexander's Library was rumored to be under thousands of feet of ocean water. Both girls knew how to dive by the time they were in the fifth grade so they were used to diving for Treasure with there parents. But what they weren't expecting happened. The boat was anchored just above them when they started their decent. Their parents were a few feet below them when everything happened in slow motion.
Both Dario and Stephanie watched as an underwater volcano exploded, just as there parents swam over it. There parents were killed instantly and Dario and Stephanie had to swim for their lives as the rush of boiling water was coming straight for them. They barely made it to the surface and onto the back of the boat when the boiling water struck Dario in the leg, forcing a scream to rip from her lips. Two boats had been in the group and as Dario screamed and Stephanie swung around, people on the other boat looked to see what was wrong.
Stephanie was able to get Dario onto the boat and then the Coast Guard was called to recover the bodies of their parents. When Dario and Stephanie returned to school after the three weeks they got off, people were wondering why Dario was on crutches. Questions were asked, questions were ignored. The girls didn't want to talk about what had happened, but nobody could stop the world from finding out the truth.
The news went viral and before long the girls could barely show their faces in school without being asked why they weren't told what was going on. Dario exploded on some of the kids saying that it wasn't any of their damn business and that this was a private thing that had happened to their family and their family only.
