Summery:"Draco," she said softly. "I love you," she continued.
"No," he said fiercely, "damn it. Don't do this. You can fight it, god, please Gin."
"Draco," she said. He met her eyes. "Tell me again," she said quietly before wincing.

A Single Tear
He stared at the house before him. Roses of red, white, and pink were in the garden nearby. Her favorites. The house was small but cozy. Perfect for two people to live in. He closed his eyes and the memory filled him and pained him once again.
"Mr. Malfoy?" He looked up to the healer and stood. "She wants to see you."
He eyed the women before walking in. The healers voice had been anxious and scared. Walking to Ginny's bed he breathed in a sharp breath. Her hair was dull and she was ghastly pale. Walking over she saw him and gave a weak smile.
"Ginny," he said his voice soft as he sat near her, his hand soon taking hers. He squeezed it and felt her squeeze back weakly. "You're fine, right? We can go back to where we need to be, right?"
"Draco," she said softly. "I love you," she continued.
"No," he said fiercely, "damn it. Don't do this. You can fight it, god, please Gin."
"Draco," she said. He met her eyes. "Tell me again," she said quietly before wincing.
He swallowed knowing exactly what 'it' she was talking about, "it's a small house," he said softly before closing his eyes. A single tear fell before he opened them again, "we'll live there with no worries," he continued, his breath becoming shaky. "Roses will always grow in the gardens, your favorites."
Ginny smiled, "I love you," she said her voice seemed to soften.
"No," he said touching her face. "Ginny," he said kissing her lightly, "please damn it, don't leave me."
She closed her eyes and a tear fell from them, "I don't want to, I'm scared. I don't want to leave you."
He's breathing become more ragged, "you love me? Then don't leave me."
She opened her eyes slowly, as if it was getting harder. "Don't say that," she said in a fierce whisper. "I love you, you know it."
He kissed her cheek, her lips, her nose hoping it would help. "I know," he said pressing his forehead against hers. "I love you too, don't forget it."
Her hand came up to his face and she touched it lightly. "I promise," she whispered. He reached up and touched her hand. Gripping it he felt a rush of pain when she never gripped back.
He shook his head. No more pain, he thought. He walked up to the roses and stared at them. He could see her…see her planting them. Her nose would be smudged dirt. Her hair tied up. As she would look up at him he would see the laughter in her eyes...
Breathing in shakily he edged closer to the garden and stared down at it. He brought her here and proposed. They were suppose to marry! Suppose to be with one another! He shook his head as pain hit him again.
Feeling drained her went back into the small house. He sat at his desk and wrote:
Roses they grow so beautiful
Each petal growing to its color
Each having a meaning
Red for love
Pink for interest
White for forever
You were mine
First my pink rose
Then my red
But, never my white
I dream of you
I wish for you…
But you're still gone
Forever gone in a yesterday
Never here again for a tomorrow

Author's Note: Damn it, I cried. Plus, my train of thought died when I started to cry so my poem stinks a little. Also, sorry it's so short.
