Review?
"Man; if lives were cats, you'd have a litter."
"You have no idea, dude."
He didn't even know who he'd been talking to when he saw Dash rounded the corner. His eyebrows shot up in a moment of surprise before, instinctively, he began to inch away from the behemoth. This seemed to only encourage him, though, as he took a seat on the bench, then pulled the smaller boy down to sit next to him.
"Just push and pull and eventually, you end up with a mess, right? But pleasing people has never really been your bag, huh?"
"R-right. Are you okay? You're acting... weird."
"Yeah, I'm fine. How're you?"
He said nothing, assuming it to be a rhetorical question in the wrong tone and just turning to look at the boy. Blue eyes met him kindly, and he almost didn't recognize them as Dash's.
"I-I'm alright. Is there something you needed?"
"Oh!" he seemed to remember something in a moment of insight, smiling and shaking his head. He pulled a small square out of his jacket pocket and unfolded it to reveal a 97 cent photo-print. "This."
Danny leaned over to look. "Uh... what is it?"
"You, Danny. You're Danny Phantom too, aren't you?"
Danny looked away immediately. "Don't tell anyone. Please, Dash. Please—that's begging."
"Alright, I can do that."
"Really?"
"Yeah. This photo... well, it explained everything. I kinda feel bad for beating you up—this is why you were always so different. It's kind of my fault."
"Is that... an apology?"
Dash just shook his head. "But you don't believe me."
"Sorry, nope."
"Like I said: it's just a bitch convincing people to like you."
