Chapter1: Counterpart?
The girl looked around her.
"N' once again, no' where I'm meant ta be." She said. Then she took notice of the figures standing over her. Suddenly one pushed through the others to her.
"Who are you?" he asked, "And what are you doing here?"
"Captain Kira Sparrow n' I 'ave no idea." Replied Kira, unable to see this man due to the sun shining from behind him.
"And you are?" she asked.
"Ardeth Bey." He replied, still regarding her warily.
{I know that name from somewhere...} thought Kira.
"How did you appear here?" Ardeth asked her.
"Not entirely sure. A spell I would imagine." She looked around at the people. "Can I get up now? This is gettin' uncomfortable." Ardeth nodded to the others, who they backed off, and then offered her a hand up.
"By the by, where am I?" she asked as he helped her up.
"In Cleora, in Egypt."
"Egypt!?... Oh well, s'pose it's betta than Middle-Earth." Ardeth frowned at the unfamiliar name.
"Where are you from?" he asked.
"I live on the ocean mainly." She replied as she looked up so that she could finally see his face.
Her eyes narrowed, "You look familiar, do I know..." Her eyes now widened slightly.
"Yer me da's counterpart." She said staring at him. Ardeth frowned at her.
"What do you mean by counterpart?" He asked.
"Accordin' ta the Lady it's a person from another dimension tha' shares the same spirit as someone from another dimension. So you 'ave the same spirit as me da... n' I'm in a different dimension!" Her eyes widened further as she came to this conclusion.
"Ya know, I take back what I said 'bout Middle-Earth. At least then I was in the right dimension."
