She came to a stream to wash her hands. She splashed some on her face. She wiped her face off and squinted her eyes. She thought she saw, but he wouldn't. 'He would'.

Kagome looked across the stream and found Inuyasha and Kikyo. That was no surprise. But it was the way he was holding her. So close. She walked across the sream quietly and tried to listen better.

"So Kikyo" Inuyasha said, still holding her real close. "You know you have a charming smile" he said, cooly. Kagome looked suprised. He didn't. "Kikyo, you have something on your lips. Let me get it for you" he said leaning in and kissing her. 'He did'. That wast the stuff she taught him to try and get a girl, thinking he would use it on her. But he didn't.

Kagome couldn't move. It was like her feet wanted her to enjoy the pain. And when Kikyo kissed back, Kagome was furious. 'All this and now he runs to her.' But when she went back to the hut, she cried.

"Kagome" Inuyasha said shaking her awake. "Kagome!" He yelled. Kagome startled getting up. "What" she asked sternly. "Lets go, we have more shards to collect." Inuyasha walked out of the hut. "It was all a dream. It was a dream." She said relieved. She got up and left the hut, only to find Inuyasha standing at the door. "Kagome, you have something on your lips. Let me get it for you." He said leaning in and finally kissing her. This is what she had been waiting for. She kissed him back, happy she was the one he chose.
