For The First Time
I only really got to know you recently – properly, that is. We were best friends for seven years, but it's only been these months that we decided we would get to know each other inside out, backwards and upside down – and you're nothing if not thorough.
It's been no more than five minutes since we've started this thing; or so it feels in comparison to the time we've known each other. But, regardless of whether we wasted seven years just bickering or not, the truth is that now I understand you on a different level.
Our fighting was just miscommunication.
