Love in All Eight Crests

-Light

Was it her or does it always seem like he stood out in the crowds? Maybe it's because of his hair—messy, wild, and in your face. Whatever it was he just stood out. Just like a single spec of light floating amidst a vast sea of darkness. Maybe it's the sparkle he gets in his eyes whenever he wanted to do something, which was almost every thirty minutes.

-Sincerity

"You didn't have to do that you know." She said to him rudely after he retrieved her backpack from a group of punks during passing period. "I didn't need your help." "I know. I just wanted to help you." He sent her a large crooked grin. "I'll see you later in Chemistry." He said as he walked away. She couldn't help but smile as she watched the ends of his hair bounce up and down a little with each step he took.

-Friendship

"No matter what happens to us in the future we'll always be friends." He said to the group after their graduation ceremony, sure of himself. He said it so straightforward—without a tinge of doubt it made her eyes glisten.

-Reliability

"…I found him with her in bed." She cried quietly, her hands gripping onto his now tear-soaked pajamas. What brought her to his apartment—she wasn't sure. But she just knew he'd be there. Relief had flown through her body when the door opened and revealed a very sleepy and even more messy-haired Tai. She'd immediately flung herself onto him and the dam in her eyes fell apart. "You'll be alright…I promise." He said soothingly and then he pulled her into his embrace. And she readily believed him. He'd never failed her before.

-Knowledge

He always knows just how to make her feel better and put a smile on her face. He knew she was in dire pain and remembered to change the channel whenever something sad aired on T.V. She failed to stop the smile that appeared on her face when she walked into kitchen to spot the distressed, messy man sitting on the floor. "I tried to make your favorite dish." He looked up apologetically.

-Hope

Being with him made her feel safe. Like she could do anything in the world. And look forward to the future.

-Love

"I'm so, so stupid." She managed between kisses. "Stupid. Stupid. Stupid." She said as she pulled off his shirt and pushed his upright body onto the bed.

-Courage

She'd always thought—no—believed that he'd never held an ounce of fear inside him. Yet here he was now, down with one bent knee on the floor, in a fancy restaurant, with everyone watching, sweat-dripped face looking up at her with brown eyes that confined expectance, love, and fear—eyes that meant the world to her.

AN: I'd forgotten that great feeling I get when I post something. And I'm so happy I can write again. I don't know if anything like this has been posted on this section before.
