Shino breathed softly listening to Kiba bitch and moan about the training they had today. His eyes were closed, as he leaned against the foot of his bed, trying to block out the rough husky voice that seemed to fill every corner of his room. He just need to breath.
Kiba's presence was suffocating, stealing his life little by little. His voice always sent a tumor down his spine if he got to close.
A hand dropped down onto his shoulder, and his eyes flew open behind dark glasses. He shifted his head to the side, schooling his emotions. "Hmm?"
"I was asking you something important, ya know." Kiba growled as he flopped down, his face right next to Shino's. "But, forget it, it's not that important."
Shino raised a brow. "Hnn." This enticed a growl from Kiba.
"That's really all you say. Isn't it?" Kiba pushed his face closer, eyes narrowed. He could smell a sudden spike in Shino's scent. He brushed it off as 'space issues'.
"Hnn." Shino was fighting a blush at Kiba's proximity, not that it mattered, he knew Kiba could smell emotions. If only he knew how to say it.
Kiba growled again, a slid easily off the bed. He put his head in Shino's lap and demanded; "Pet me. If you're going to ignore me, and I'm going to have a conversation with myself, I want something out of it."
There was a slight hesitation before a hand slid through his messy hair.
"Anyways," And Kiba began again, just talking about whatever can to his mind, hating when it got silent and awkward. The fingers that were running against his skull kept distracting him and he would repeat a sentence three or four times just to remember what he was saying.
This was not the first time Kiba had Shino pet him but every time, it got harder and harder not to kiss the teen when he would slip off to sleep, a deep rumble sounding from his throat. Shino tried to concentrate of Kiba's words but could not. Gently, he continued to untangle the Inuzuka's hair.
"Shino, I like," Kiba stopped himself before he finished. He could not say that. Being this close to the teen was good enough. He could live with it. However, if he ever found the right thing to say he would tell Shino, and except whatever the other deemed fit.
For now, this was enough.

Purdy bad, but blech. Shuddup. I love that Kiba 'demands' Shino to 'pet' him. :giggle:
