Sherlock and John
Sherlock walked into the room and saw John nervously playing with his fingers. He tilted his head to the side. John's behaviour had been weird recently, like he was hiding something. Sherlock know the only way to stop this behaviour was to confront him.
What is with the strange behaviour?
Uhm.. Nothing...
John it is quite clear you are hiding something.
John averted his gaze. As Sherlock piercing green eyes were watching his every move. The avoiding, the nervousness. Then everything clicked in place. John Hamish Watson had a crush on Sherlock Holmes. The man that never felt human emotions. The colour raised to Sherlock's cheeks, he never got embarrassed. Why was he embarrasses? He looked up and saw John watching him. Sherlock's spine pickled, he wasn't used to these human emotions. Sherlock hadn't be able to place his finger on his current emotion but he missed John, then it dawned kn him. He had fallen in love with the army doctor.
Sherlock, John asked.
He snapped back into reality. Yes John.
You seem embarrassed is everything alright?
Quite alright. I think. Just experiencing human emotions.
Which one?
Well uhm.
John had never seen Sherlock lost for words, he chuckled lightly to himself.
I have fallen in love.
John jaw dropped, Sherlock Holmes the sociopath had fallen in love.
Don't look too surprised John.
With who? Was all he could utter.
You. Was the simple response Sherlock gave.
Me. I am normal, nothing out of the ordinary. No different from anyone else
That is where you are quite wrong. You an army doctor, have been shot. And have an interest and need for an adventure and danger. You and I are very similar.
John didn't know how to respond so he stood up and kissed Sherlock. Their tongues danced into each other's mouths. Sherlock grabbed his arms around John pulling him closer. John responding the same way.
Mrs Hudson walked in and shouted. I knew you were dating. She jumped for joy. The pair jumped away and blushed. She replied, "I will leave you to it." And winked as she walked out.
Nothing was the same at 221b Baker Street again.
