ESSAY

"Woof Woof" yelled, one of John's dogs. This dog's name is Oreo. And his other, dynamic and brave dog Duke. They were great dogs, they went everywhere together. One fine beautiful sunny day, John wanted to go camping. The dogs were excited as a little child running around the front yard on the fourth of July. In these paragraphs you will see the huge tale of their biggest adventure ever!

As the engine revved, down the twisty curvy road, both dogs, with there heads out of the window. There mouths open and their saliva drooling. "Were hear." Screamed John as he opened his car door the dogs barked wildly. They wanted to get OUT! After they got out they marked each other's territory. And then, they eat dinner ahh yes diner there favorite part of the day. Oreo was feed slimy cat food that was the stickiest substance ever. Duke on the other hand, was given table scraps from John's meal. But, the next day no one would expect to be the worst day ever in Duke and John's life.

As they woke up Oreo was off the walls, he was as hyper as a teenager that had too much sugar for breakfast. Duke woke up an hour after everyone else. So he slowed the whole day down. After breakfast they decided to go swimming down the lake. As they crossed the dark and gloomy swamp, they were bitten by mosquitoes twice the size of regular ones. Then, they reached the beginning of the river they all put on there life vest's. Next they jumped in the cool, warm water at first Oreo was scared but then he got used to it. As for Duke he just literally went along with the flow.

Later on in the trip Oreo was drifting behind Duke when all of a sudden, John got caught on a current. He yelled at the dogs to keep going. Of course they did because they couldn't understand anyway. Oreo got tired so then he hopped on Duke's back. They rode for about a half a mile when Duke heard a "SPLASH". He stopped and turned around. Oreo was struggling for life. Unfortunately the battle won. Oreo was floating in the water. Dead. Duke sprang into action. He put Oreo on his back. And then swam against the current all the way back to John. And then they got off the the river and walked back to the campsite.

The only thing to do now was put him in a box and wait wait for tomorrow to take him home. They mourned all that night and when they woke up it would be a long ride home.

The ride back was lonely Duke was crying the whole ride home and John just tried to comfort him but It didn't work at all. When they got home, Duke went inside and got Oreo's bed. He carried it all the way back to his room and then carried both of them to John's room. Later in the evening, when John was ready to go to bed, Duke climbed into the bed. And unfortunately he died after he winked his eyes. That night was the worst for John. He never got over the loss of both dogs.

So that's where the story ends John moved on in life, and got new dogs but of course he will never get over the death of his favorite two dogs Oreo and Duke. They are buried outside by the lilac bush where both dogs loved to be under. And once a day John will place lilac's next to the graves, and prays for them to have a great life in Heaven.

THE END.
