I don't know what to say
It just came to me
It was like a light that wouldn't stop shinning
I had awful dreamsBabies were falling down as I let go of them
People were screaming
Blood was being shed
And he just kept coming backI encountered some pretty strange things that no other had
I could not control it
Sadly was, I didn't feel it till once it was done
He just kept coming back
Happiness, sorrow, confusion...
Nothing less
Maybe there is only one thing I can do
It's to tell you my story.
Chapter 1
I saw myself running. I was running for dear life. I was either going to collapse right there or survive. I told myself to keep running. My legs were burning in sore, pressuring as they touch the cement. My heart was racing and all I could think of was what I had just encountered. I had bruises on my arms and blood on my face.
Just when I thought I'd make it, I saw a bright light coming from the other end. My first instincts were "Am I dead?" But it wasn't what I saw. It was worse than that.
I saw Freddy Kugar.
That's when I woke up.
Maybe it was real. Maybe it wasn't. I wasn't exactly sure. All I know was, I was covered in sweat.
Today was the first day of October and my parents were planning a birthday party for my little sister. She was turning six. I tried to put a huge smile on face as I was decorating the house. Molly Kipper, my best friend, was coming over in a few minutes to help out; I wasn't sure if I should tell her my dream. Kids have nightmare all the time, right?
"Hannah! Can you give me a hand in living room? I can't get the banners to stick!" Mrs. Spark said from across the room.
"Okay, Mo…"
Ding Dong.
Molly!
Ding Dong.
"I'll get that!" I ran to the door in excitement. I haven't seen Molly in a week, but it seems like months. I opened the door.
"Molly!!"
"Hannah!!"
The girls leaped into each others arms.
But thats when it started...
Screams.
My heart stopped.
Screams.
Emily!
The screams became louder. I didn't know where it was coming from. All I thought of was Emily. I ran to the kitchen. No one. The bedroom. No one. The living room. My mom was there.
"Mom! Mom! Did you hear that?"
Mrs. Spark just looked at her blankly. " What are you talking about, Hannah?"
" I heard screams!"
"Oh don't be ridicules, honey!"
Screams.
"Emily!" Hannah ran towards the bathroom.
"Shoot, need to pee!" Molly said heading to the door.
Hannah pushed Molly away.
And there it was, what she feared the most.
On the walls were written:
" I'm back!
And this time I'll get you.
There's no escape."
It's true.
He's back.
