FLASHBACK

Once upon a time in far away Kingdom lived a beautiful princess and her widow father. "It's beautiful." Okay it wasn't that long ago and it wasn't a really far away kingdom. It was the Sanfro Indo Valley it looks far away but you can barley see it through all the smog but to me growing up the valley was my Kingdom. I was my dad's best friend and he was mine and although being raise my a men, put me behind the fashion and make-up department, I've never felt like I miss out on anything I was the luckiest girl in the world. My dad had the coolest diner in the whole valley. I loved hanging out there. It was the kind of place where diet was a four letter word and grease came in no diction charge. At Dan's everyone felt like family. I would always I have my birthday there. "Make a wish princess." What did I need a wish for I had the amazing friends and the coolest dad. Soon I was blowing out my candles. But I guess my dad thought I needed one more thing, Heather, along with my new stepmother came her twin daughters Demi and Selena my out of stepsisters, but as long as my day was happy so was I, we were going to be one big happy family. "Cheese." "Ones enough." Heather said.

Unfortunately this was no fairytale.

"He took her hand and kissed it then he swooped her up into his horse and with the beautiful princess and the handsome prince rode off to his castle were they lived happily… ever… after." Dan's told.

Emily laughed. "Do fairytales come true dad?" I asked.

"Well no, but dreams come true." Dan said.

Emily said "Do you have a dream?"

"Yeah, my dream is that you would grow up, go to college and maybe some day you will build your own castle." Dan said.

"Where do princesses go to college?" Emily asked.

"Um… they go umm… where the princes go. They go to Princeton, but Em you know fairytales aren't about finding a handsome prince; they are about fulfilling your dreams and about standing up for what you believe in. Just like I always say Never Let The Fear Of Striking…"

"Keep You From Playing The Game." Em butted in and laughed.

"And just remember if you look carefully in this book it contains important things you may need to know later in life." Dan said. He kissed me on the forehead.

Then all of a sudden the snow globe started shaking I looked over.

"Earthquake!!" Dan yelled. My Kingdom came crumbling down the days of the North Witch Earthquake struck the Valley.

"Help, Help." Heather yelled.

"Don't Go." Em whined.

"I'll be right back." Dan promised.

I let go of his hand, my snow globe dropped to the ground and shattered into pieces. I lost my best friend that day so then on the only fairytales in my life were the ones I read in books. I was forced to move up to the attic with my belongings by Heather. And since my father didn't leave a will my step mother got everything. The house, the diner, and in her dismay me. I wish he would come back. I cried myself to sleep that night.
