It was late, Aang was sitting motionless under the stars. He was practicing firebending for next season he must face Fire Lord, Ozai. As the young Aavatar twisted the flames into arches of fire and fireworks that burst into silence, he gazed at the stars and remembered that day when he got so close to kissing Katara it wasn't funny he was remembering The Cave of Two Lovers.
The silence was not broken until Aang heard a rustle from the bush behind Katara's tent, he jumped up quickly and slowly crept towards the bush only to find Katara sobbing while clutching her mothers necklace. Aang knew why she was crying it was because her mother had died in Fire Nation hands and now it was Aang's turn to fight, she was so scared that he would also perish in Fire Nation hands and there will be no hope.
"Katara its going to be alright I am going to be alright" Aang spoke as if he knew he was wrong "I know you are the Avatar and you will come back but I …… just can't let you leave me like my mother I just…..won't let you!" She said before bursting into tears Aang sat next to her and hugged her and comforted her with his words "Katara I would never ever leave you because... well I need to tell you something"
"Aang there is another reason I don't want you to go" she replied "but you tell me first" Katara begged. "Katara I was thinking about The Cave of Two Lovers and how you asked me to kiss you…. what I am trying to say is I was a big jerk and I I I I love you Katara and I think you are beautiful and smart and well" Aang said in a clump of words but Aang knew Katara understood when she put her famous smile on.
