This is part one for a series of Crossovers for Doctor Who. They're about what if, in "A Good Man Goes to War", the Doctor went to certain other series and got people from there to fight alongside him. I know it's short, it's just an introduction.
I don't own Doctor Who or Harry Potter.
On that day, when the Lord of Time and the Final Roman, the two strongest in that universe, found that a certain young girl, whom they both held dear to their hearts, had been taken from them, they did not despair. They did not cry, or shout, or scream in frustration. Instead, they ran. Ran through time and space, collecting on the many debts the Lord of Time had upon people. Nearly every living thing held a debt to that man in some way. And he went to those he deemed useful, and declared that they would repay their debts that very day. And they came together, in the incredible event known as the Battle of Demon's Run. But that battle was lost, and while many died that day, and those who lived were brought truly low, the seeds were sown to bring them all much, much higher. Some of those whose debts he collected upon were known. The Reptile Mistress and her human lover, the Combat Nurse, the Pirate, the Flying Men Out of Time, the Martyr Merchant. But there were more. I spin for you the tales of those others who fought at his side that day, and how they came to join him in that conquest. First, the first man whom he brought forth as his ally. The King of Sorcerers.
Young Teddy Lupin had known all his life that his guardians had strange business deals. He knew that there were things he couldn't know at his age. He always accepted "I'll tell you when you're older" as an acceptable answer. Not to say he wasn't curious. He was incredibly curious. But he knew, his caretakers knew best. So most of the time, when strange things happened (well, stranger things than what normally happened in a house full of magic), he'd ponder it, but be content knowing it would be explained in due time.
But one afternoon, when he was just seven years old, something happened, so confusing and perplexing to him, that he could not help but request an answer.
After all, he was certain that wheezing, dragging noise hadn't ever breached the stillness of Godric's Hollow before. He knew that he had never seen a metal wand with a lightbulb on it before. And what was the name of that hat thing on his head? A vizz, a frazz? No, a fez.
That was all strange, yes, but then his godfather suddenly sprang up when he heard the noise and saw the odd man outside. A knowing look was passed between the man and his wife, and Teddy's guardian threw on a cardigan and ran out to him.
This left Teddy with some questions for his godmother.
"Aunt Ginny, Who was that strange man, and why did Uncle Harry just run with him into that blue box? And where did the box go?"
And that is all for Part 1 of my extreme crossover series. Get ready for more. Considering how short these stories all are going to be, I could mybe write one or two every couple days. So be prepared.
Also, if you want to see something in here, anything at all, be it a certain fandom or the characters doing something, don't hesitate to ask. I'd love to put it in here for you.
