"NO!" I screech as I watch her fall limp onto the dirty floor...
One by one, the only people I have ever cared about fall to the ground, creating a large lake of dirty red blood.
It's all my fault…I think to myself as I see them fall, one by one, every time they fall I feel a dagger being forced in and out of my heart… until it stops. The moment it does I regret wishing it ever did, for I deserve every bit of the pain; it was my deception that lead to their gruesome fate.
I was the one that told the Dark Lord where they were… and now I cannot undo it.
I, Peter Pettigrew, solemnly swear, on the remainder of my life that I will avenge my friend's deaths and make up for all my wrongdoing. I will begin with helping Harry, the lone survivor of my shame. I will risk limb and life for this boy, this I promise.
