I was bored. This comes from a quote by my brother's best friend. I think everyone can agree with it.
Venting
Sora swung the bat over his head, wondering how in the worlds Riku was so darn accurate with his hits while wearing a blindfold. He could not figure out were anything was. Not that it mattered at the moment.
Even if he did not have a cloth covering his eyes, he likely would be swinging around blindly.
He was just so frustrated right now. He and Penelo were in the middle of their first real fight and he really just wanted to kill something. While stalking through the borough, he had found the perfect outlet.
He made another wide swing, feeling the handle in his hands shake a bit as the bat barely grazed something. There was a cry and he knew he had almost gotten his target. Setting his jaw, he re-orientated himself and made one more violent swing.
The bat connected solidly with something and there was a cracking noise.
A commotion broke out and he dropped the wood in his hands. Two bodies brushed by him as he yanked of the blindfold. His eyes were greeted by Riku, who was sitting on the low stone wall and shaking his head in faint disbelief.
Marlene and Denzel were scrambling around the broken remains of a piƱata, collecting every bit of candy.
Sora walked over to Riku, telling the two children that they better share. He sighed rather contently as he leaned against the stone beside his best friend and threw his head back. That had worked like a charm.
Riku smirked down at him. "Feel better now?"
The brunet grinned. "There's no better reward to venting then to have the target bleed candy."
