HAPPY REUNION
In the absence of a WOW while the lovely Enkidu is on holiday, and the fact that I've been away being incredibly unproductive at Asylum 13 convention all weekend, here's a little drabble I wrote to fulfil a prompt over on Livejournal last week. The prompt was to write a drabble focussing on a season premier of your choice. Therefore, this drabble contains spoilers for 4.01, Lazarus Rising.

After the initial shock and disbelief of Dean's reappearance, Sam embraced his brother, clinging to him as if his life depended on it.
He didn't know how Dean had escaped intact from Hell and right now, he didn't care. Explanations and answers could wait; he was just going to savour this moment. He rubbed Dean's hair, inhaling deeply of his familiar scent; he had to reassure himself that this was real.
Glancing over Dean's shoulder, he saw Bobby, standing quietly against the wall, watching the brothers' reunion through suspiciously shiny eyes.
Hell could go screw itself. Sam was in heaven right now.
