Dear Journal,
I'm so frustrated! I mean I like Mimi and everything but I don't want her to get infected like I am. I can tell she really wants to get together. She came to the loft again last night. I was just sitting playing my guitar when al of a sudden I hear someone singing. So I'm like, who the hell is singing? She came through the window asking me to take her out tonight. The girl is very straightforward. Then she kissed me! It was absolutely amazing! But I knew that that was as far as we could go together so I got really frustrated and got mad at her. I started yelling at her for barging in on me and my guitar. I know. It's lame. Then I started telling her maybe another day and she kept telling me no day but today, that there was only us, only this. It was so beautiful and she was right. I just don't know if I can handle getting back into the world outside these walls. And who knows if she'll even give me another chance after last night. She was really upset about it and I feel really bad. Mark keeps pestering me about going to Maureen's show tonight. Maybe I'll go. For Mimi. I mean it could be fun. And I can finally tell her why I'm being so distant. Yeah then I think I'll go.

MIMI HAS AIDS!!! I'm so happy! Now we can have a relationship! I wound up going to Maureen's show. At one point we all had to Moo with her. Mimi was really into it so I mooed a little to make her happy. Apparently, the cops thought the audience (which consisted of mainly homeless people, squatters and other people who hated Benny as much as us), got a little too into it because a riot broke out. Maureen was pretty pissed about it. After the show we went to the Life for dinner. I asked Mimi to go with us. She made me ask her straight out [[as in "we're going to dinner" "uh huh…" "would you come with me" but she was so cool with giving me a second chance. Dinner was great. We gave a huge toast to being bohemian and just being us. It was awesome. Benny, who dared grace us with his presence after the riot, did not appreciate our performance though. Probably because it was in front of his new business partner who, by the way, got a very nice view of Maureen's ass. Heh heh. But it wasn't until my beeper went off that I found out about Mimi. She was talking to me about being distant again at dinner when my beeper beeped. She whipped out a bottle of medicine the same time as me and declared "AZT break". I couldn't believe it! I took her outside into the romantically snowy alley. We kissed after some talking. Then we walked inside and made it clear to everyone that we were together by kissing again. I think things are gonna be pretty good from now on.
