A/N Well we all know Ronald Weasley is terrified of little spiders, and so am I haha so I based his feelings off of mine when I see a spider, and let me tell you EXTREME Arachnophobia is the worst fear ever, seeing a little spider can scare you so bad you cry haha.
Rons Thoughts
Arachnophobia- An abnormal fear of spiders.
Ron Weasley was peacefully doing his Potions essay in his Dorm while Harry and Hermione were both on dates in Hogsmade; leaving him by himself to do nothing.
Ron was scribbling nonsense when he felt a tickle on his pale hand. He scratched it then returned to his essay. He felt the tickle again, this time it was more annoying, he looked at his hand and let out an ear splitting scream.
In the middle of his hand was a tiny black spider. Letting out another girly scream, Ron flung his hand around until the spider flew off his hand and landed on his pillow.
Without realizing it Ron had dashed to the other side of the room in the middle of his trauma. He stood in the corner shaking violently while his light blue eyes filled with tears. You're Pathetic, his mind scolded him.
Ever since he could remember Ron had been terrified of spiders, whether they were big, little, furry, slimy, brightly colored or black. When he was the mere age of five, little Ron was happily eating cereal when he reached for his spoon, he felt something large and furry. He looked at his spoon and saw the biggest black spider imaginable; he instantly dashed from the table and locked himself in his room where cried for hours.
He didn't come down for a week; afraid there would be another one of those furry little monsters, and the only reason he did come down was because Fred and George said they would buy a pet tarantula and free it in his room.
Ron broke out of his memory and slowly stood up. Enough is enough, I will no longer be afraid of a bug! Ron walked over to Harry's bedside table; picked up a large DADA book and slowly trudged to his own bed.
He looked down at his white pillow and saw it, the demon. He slowly lifted up the heavy book and the spider moved a centimeter, once again Ron let out a long unmanly scream and dashed towards the door.
He stopped himself from opening the door, and gazed at his pillow. He picked up the book that he threw across the room and tip toed to his bed… again. He looked at the little spider, which by the way was not much bigger then the pad of your pinky finger, and lifted the book while closing his eyes tight.
He took a deep breath and slammed the book down as hard as he could. He cautiously opened his eyes and lifted the book. The spider wasn't on the pillow. Where the hell is the spider?
Ron started to have a panic attack when a voice behind him said, "Flip the book over Ron." Ron turned around and saw Harry and Hermione with amused looks on their faces.
Realizing what Harry said he flipped the book over and saw something that he thought he would never see, a dead spider squished on the book. A spider that HE killed. A huge grin formed on the red heads face.
"I killed the spider! I'm not afraid of them anymore!" Hermione screeched and ran to hug him while Harry clapped behind them. Ron never felt so happy in his entire life, and 20 years later when Ron's daughter ran up to him crying about a spider, he killed it without a second thought.
The End
A/N haha well that was weird, and unlike Ron I'm still terrified of them.
