Author's Note: This takes place after New Directions win Regionals in "On My Way". Between the time the get off stage and the scene with Kurt and Blaine walking down the hallway.

"What if I was wrong and you had never questioned it?

What if it was true, that all we thought was right, was wrong?

Simple math, the truth cannot be fractioned,

I imply I've got to get it back then."

-Manchester Orchestra, "Simple Math"

He found him in the auditorium.

Sebastian was polishing one of his moves from 'Stand', a move that he was certain caused them to win just second place. He wasn't too upset, however. They did make a large amount of money for the Born This Way project. And for once in a long time, Sebastian felt good about doing something for other people.

Blaine watched him with a slight smile gracing his face. The Warbler stopped his dancing, breathing a little heavier than normal. He was standing in the middle of the stage, blue spotlight lighting up his face. His eyes flitted about, watching the invisible audience boldly. "Come on, stand," he sang, belting out the lyrics passionatly. "Stand, you're gonna run again." Sebastian stopped singing, panting slightly. Sudden, steady clapping pulled him out his daze as he jumped, spinning around to face Blaine.

"You know, you were really good out there, on the stage. You look so different when you're singing. It's like you turn into a different person. Your face lights up-"

"Why are you here?" Sebastian said, a bit sharply as he ignored the shorter boy and continued with his dance moves. Blaine sighed, smile falling a little as he walked closer.

"I just wanted to say I accept your apology. I mean, I'm still not over the fact that I almost had my eye taken out," he said, dismissing it with a little chuckle. He glanced up from the floor. "But, I... You're a really good guy, Sebastian. You've done...bad things, but you could be so much greater. I, I believe in you. I don't know if you even knew Dave Karofsky, but the fact that you raised money for the 'Born This Way' project; you really are kind."

Sebastian faced him again, taking in the other boy's appearance. "Thanks for the pep talk, Bowtie Anderson, but you can go now. I'm sure you and Kurt have celebrating to do."

Blaine had that look of sadness drawn out on his face, eyes full of greif and pain and pity. Stepping forward, closer to the taller boy, he took Sebastian's hand in his own. He was taller than Kurt, with larger, rougher hands.

Sebastian's heart thumped a staccato beat under his rib cage, eyebrows raised in curioustiy and confusion. Blaine's hand was surprisingly soft, calloused slightly at the fingertips. "What are you-" he started, but was cut off by Blaine's lips to his own.

They were plump and soft, not very chapped but smooth. Their lips moved easily, snyced together. The kiss was but a lingering peck, but to Sebastian it was bliss. He cherished everything; the feel of Blaine's lips on his, their hands clutching each other's. It was better than he'd ever imagined it to be, gentle but full of emotion and unspoken words.

It was over too soon for the Warbler, who flicked open his eyelids quickly. "What- What was that for?"

Blaine gave a small smile as he backed away, off the stage. "Just... I'm sorry. And you're welcome," he said, leaving Sebastian dazed in the auditorium.

The taller boy honestly didn't know why Blaine had given him the kiss. Maybe he had felt bad for Sebastian. However, he didn't worry over it much. Yes, he still loved Blaine. The emotion, which was once just lust at first, then raw, honest love, had been down trodden and ignored. But, for now, he'd gotten what he wanted. Just a kiss.
